In the center of the dial is a skull with small black ceramic balls arranged on top, symbolizing the ebb and flow of life and echoing the concept of "Memento Mori". This Latin phrase means "remember you must die" and encourages people to think about the impermanence of life. Beside the dial are the initials DM at 6 o'clock, representing the British band's logo. The dial is decorated with pyramid-shaped stud hour markers, a pattern that complements the black ceramic bezel, while the hands are hollowed out.
Powering the watch is the HUB1710_SD movement, an automatic movement that runs at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers a 50-hour power reserve. The watch is a limited edition and each comes with two easily interchangeable straps, facilitated by the patented One Click system. The first strap is made from recycled materials and Velcro, in line with the Conservation Collective’s plastic pollution initiative. The second strap is made of black rubber and features a black titanium folding clasp for secure closure.
